Devin Armani Booker’s hamstring is the story after the Suns fell to the Pelicans 125-114 in Game 2. The series is tied 1-1.
The superstar guard left with 4:34 in the 3rd quarter with what is being called “hamstring tightness.” He returned from the locker room to open the 4th quarter but didn’t re-enter the game.

The BIGGEST question looming over this playoff run: How long will Booker be out?
Prior the injury, Book went nuclear. He finished with 31 points, all in the first half. Plus he did fist bump with a baby to end the first quarter.

With Book out, the Suns couldn’t outpace the Pelicans. Brandon Ingram dropped 37 points. New Orleans outrebounded Phoenix 43-33. The Pelicans shot 17-31 from downtown (54.8%).
The Suns started making a run, retaking the lead 96-95 with 8:22 remaining when Cam Johnson forced a steal and slammed it home. Johnson finished with 11 points.
Game 3 is in New Orleans on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
