’24 Dillon Hipp commits to Ole Miss
On Aug. 6 Desert Mountain tight end Dillon Hipp announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Twitter.

Dillon plans to enroll at Ole Miss early to fight for a starting position. He says the coaching staff envisions him as a well-rounded tight end with a lot of potential standing at 6-foot-6, 240-pounds.
“They also said that I’m different than some of the guys they have now because of my length and ability,” Hipp said.

“My personal goals are really to just lead my team and win a state championship this year in my last year on the team. Before I get to college I want to get faster than I already am as well as lower my body fat percentage while gaining lean muscle to be ready for college workouts this next January.”
’24 Kenny Worthy II Narrows Top Choices
Centennial defensive back Kenny Worthy II describes his recruitment as “smooth” and says narrowing down his top programs has been an easy process.
Kenny has offers from a dozen programs – including an offer from in-state ASU. However, his top two programs as it stands are Washington State and the University of Nevada.
“They both show an equal amount of love and I would love to go to either university.”
Kenny plans to make a commitment in the coming weeks ahead of the 23-24 football season.

The 6-foot, 178-pound athlete prides himself on his diversity as an athlete. Last season he was credited with six interceptions, 10 pass deflections and 29 total tackles.
“I just like to play everything on the field and not be stuck to one position. Just try and impact the game in all three phases.”
Kenny says this season he wants to focus on becoming a strong leader. He’s hoping to record 10 picks and 10 touchdowns and less than 150 yards allowed in his senior season.
’25 Cooper Perry’s Recruitment Isn’t Slowing Down
Notre Dame Prep wide receiver Cooper Perry is the No. 1 Arizona recruit in the 2025 class according to 247Sports. Since the Aug.1 contact period rolled around, Perry says he’s been in contact with several coaches and has earned recent offers from Michigan State and the University of Kansas.

“Every school that’s offered me, I’m interested in. I’m grateful for every scholarship offer I’ve received so that’s kind of my thought process throughout making a decision. That’s really what it comes down to is just, you know, having relationships with the right people, the right coaches and the right team.”
As a sophomore last season, Perry put up 1,100 receiving yards with 20 touchdowns.
Perry’s first Division I offer came from the Sun Devils in Oct. 2022. Shortly after he was offered by Kenny Dillingham at Oregon and then by the Arizona Wildcats. The four-star wide receiver says he’s been impressed by ASU’s initiative to “Activate the Valley” and says he’ll never forget the day he received the offer from ASU.
“Them being the first school to offer me, it was a different phone call than the rest of them. My heart dropped and it was one of the best days of my life.”
More recently he was interested in Arizona’s latest in-state additions in Elijah Rushing and Demond Williams Jr.
“Just looking at obviously the number one player in the state of Arizona, Elijah Rushing and Demond Williams commit, that just really is eye-opening. It shows that Arizona just wants to keep top guys home and that’s something cool to see for sure. So I’m excited to get out to see what’s going on over there.”
Cooper says he’s excited about ASU and Arizona moving to the Big 12 and it sparked more of an intrigue with both programs.
“I think them moving to the Big 12 is a very good thing because it keeps the competition high. It’s exciting. It’s a chance for a fresh start so I’m just really excited about the future.”
Perry says he hopes to be commit to a program before his senior season begins in 2024.
“The most important thing for me, I would say, is being able to come in and compete freshman year for a job. That’s been a dream of mine, I want to start a true freshman. I also want to get the scheme and I want to be able to be an offense that really, you know, benefits my playmaking ability.”
With a potential commitment approximately one year away, Cooper’s focus is on improving as a player this season and preparing for the Saints first game against Desert Edge on Sept. 1.
“I feel that I’m one of the top route runners in the nation. I say that humbly but with that I have to get on my routes quicker and create separation. Those are the two things I want to master so I can take my game to a new level.”
