“We gotta regroup” Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo
Um, yes
A humiliating 10-0 loss to the Phillies in Game Two Tuesday night should be in the rear-view mirror of the team by the time they land the team plane in Phoenix early Wednesday morning.

Lovullo isn’t wrong. He just doesn’t have the horses to hang with Philadelphia after two games.
The Phillies launched three home runs Tuesday night. Kylw Schwarber mashing two of them.
The Phillies did what they were supposed to do. Win at home.
The Phillies pitched better-Starter Arron Nola is now 3-0 in the postseason
The Phillies hit much better(more on this a little later)
The Phillies didn’t drop a infield pop-up or lose track of how many outs there were in an inning.(lovullo’s team did)
As good as the Diamondbacks bullpen was in Game One, it was that bad on Tuesday night.

The Diamondbacks haven’t gotten much offensively out of the middle of the order. Pham and Walker are a combined 1-15. The aggressive style of ball that the Lovullo’s team put up in the first two rounds of the playoffs was no where to be found in Philadelphia the last couple of days.

However, all Philadelphia has done is take care of their home field. This series isn’t over. I’ve seen too many playoff series where it looked like a fork could be stuck in a team and suddenly momentum takes over.

Game Three is Thursday. 2:07 first pitch. I would like to think that the poor showing in Philadelphia will be behind this team. Now the season rests on the shoulder on 25 year old Brandon Pfaadt who will get the start.
