Another Arizona kid is NFL-bound.
Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 25th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Morgan played his high school ball at Marana High School and was the hometown commit to Arizona.
As Arizona’s profile raised over recent years, as did Morgan’s. He was a key piece to a potent offensive attack. Each year, he flat out got incrementally better.
Morgan tore his ACL at the end of the 2022 season, and he had been tabbed as an early round pick in last year’s draft. He opted to return for last year and show he was a 1st round pick. He did exactly that, earning First Team All Pac-12 and Second Team All-American nods.
Daniel Jeremiah believes another year removed from his injury could help Morgan’s play strength at the next level:
Morgan headlines a group of Wildcats waiting to hear their names called this year including wide receiver Jacob Cowing, Tanner McLachlan, Michael Wiley and Taylor Upshaw.
