Saguaro defensive back Jacobe Covington announced LSU, Washington, Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Nebraska and Oregon as the programs leading the charge in his recruitment.
I caught up with Covington at the Nike GBAC Scottsdale 7-on-7 passing tournament and he broke down each school and what makes them stand out from the rest.
The 6-foot-1, 193-pound defensive back said he does not have a timeline in place and is planning to visit Washington in a few weeks. He is working on getting his other visits set up.
