Saguaro athlete Denzel Burke made an impact on both sides of the ball for the Sabercats in 2019.
In seven games, Burke caught 12 passes for 313 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, he intercepted two passes.
Now, he’ll bring that versatility to Columbus after Burke committed to Ohio State on Sunday.

Burke had a top five of the Buckeyes, USC, Washington, Oregon and Colorado.
Back when he narrowed his list to 10, Burke had this to say about the Buckeyes:
“They offered me and have been keeping in touch every since and have been showing me love. They’re on me to come and visit. I had planned to be there April 2-4 that I had to cancel.”
Ohio State has made impressive in-roads to the Grand Canyon State, earning commitments from quarterback Jack Miller and safety Lathan Ransom in last class.
The Sabercats will be busy this class again. Burke is now committed to the Buckeyes and offensive tackle Bram Walden pledged to Oregon earlier this month. Quintin Somerville has his list narrowed to eight and Alani Ma’afu, Darrion Dalton, Xander Werner all holding Division I offers.
