Bishop Gorman cornerback Alex Perry has been linked to the Sun Devils for a long time.
His older brother, Armand, is a defensive back for the Sun Devils. Alex committed very early in the recruiting cycle to the Devils as well. He did, however, re-open his recruitment over the summer. The Sun Devils did not let up though, and Perry reaffirmed his commitment to the Sun Devils in December.

The four-star defensive back is a welcome addition to Arizona State, who ranked second to last in total defense in 2016. According to Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman, Perry is a proven shutdown corner. Bishop Gorman’s non-conference schedule featured some of the best teams around the country, and it was Perry’s job to shut down the opposition’s #1 receiver, which he did often.
In the last four years, Bishop Gorman went 58-2 while Perry was logging significant minutes with team. He ends his career with over 100 tackles and four interceptions.
