Desert Ridge left town for the second consecutive weekend Friday night. After traveling to California to play Norco on the Brothers in Arms Classic last week, the Jags drove to Tucson to face Tucson High where they would get their first win of the season, 38-14 over the Badgers.
During the second half of the game, thiefs got into the Desert Ridge locker room and took an estimated $500 in cash, 15-20 pair of Beats headphones, jewelry and several cell phone cases.
The mother of Jag standouts Jalen and Jason Harris tweeted this out on Friday night.
This was a night that was supposed to be celebratory for the Harris family as Tucson High honored their father Sean Harris who was a star for them before his great career for the University of Arizona and then the NFL with the Chicago Bears.
A classy move from Tucson high but the night ended in frustration for the whole Desert Ridge program. By no means should a visiting team ever be worried or reluctant to keep their belongings in the visiting locker room.
