G-League expands, the Valley Suns are officially announced

Player 15 Group (Phoenix Suns/Mercury) is expanding to the NBA G-League, with a new team.

The name.

Valley Suns.

Mullet Arena is the new home to the Valley Suns. The proximity of the venue to Footprint Center (eight miles) and the Suns’ performance center (seven miles), plays a key role in making this the ideal home.

The Valley Suns will start playing games when the NBA G-League opens its season in November.
