It happened quicker than anticipated. Mission Viejo athlete Christian LaValle told Scout’s Greg Biggins he planned to commit in August after a series of July visits.
But here we are on June 20th, and LaValle went from being a Mission Viejo Diablo to an Arizona State Sun Devil.

LaValle nabbed 108 tackles with nine tackles for loss in his junior season with the 11-1 Diablos. He also rushed for 207 yards and five touchdowns. LaValle comes from the same school Arizona class of 2017 commit Colin Schooler made a name for himself.
LaValle holds offers from Air Force, Army and Navy and was hopeful to visit TCU and Texas A&M and was scheduled to visit Stanford later this week.
This is the second California commit for the Sun Devils in as many days. Calabasas defensive end Reggie Hughes committed on Monday.
