The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with the 53rd pick of the draft.

After dominating as a three year starter at Brophy, Morrison did more of the same at Notre Dame.

In 2022 as a freshman Morrison recorded six interceptions for the Fighting Irish and was named a Freshman All-American.

His sophomore season was stellar too, finishing as a finalist for the Jim Thorpe award, given to the best defensive back in the country.

The question entering the draft for most front offices was how healthy is he after having hip surgery in week seven of the 2024 season. On Monday leading up the draft, Morrison held a workout at Brophy in fron of scouts from 22 NFL teams to prove that his hip was ready to go.
