VIDEO – ASU Baseball head coach Willie Bloomquist and new hitting coach Jason Ellison have reunited in Tempe.
Ellison spent six seasons in the major leagues as a player and after that, as a scout. He spent last year as the hitting and outfield coordinator at the University of Washington.
Bloomquist and Ellison were high school teammates at South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Wash. and played together once more for the Mariners.
