Last weekend the National Football Foundation honored a number of deserving individuals, including Sports360AZ.com Founder & CEO, Brad Cesmat, who was selected as the Riddle Chapter Leadership Award Honoree.

Brad’s wife, Chris, shared her thoughts with me about the impact he’s had in sports media, and the community, over the past three decades.

Brad Cesmat’s genuineness as a father, husband, brother, friend, and leader, is simply unmatched.

“When I first met Brad in high school, he was known on campus as everyone’s big brother,” wife Chris Cesmat said. “He has always been the first person to reach out to a friend, or even someone he just met, who may need to talk.

“My attraction to him in the beginning was always his loyalty to his friends, and now later in life, also to our family.”

A father of four and devoted family man, Cesmat, a mainstay in the Arizona sports media for the past threes decades, also hasn’t been afraid to create his own path to success.

“He has always been an ‘out of the box,’ ‘color outside the lines person,’ in his personal life, and his professional career,” his wife of close to 35 years explained. “He likes hearing and telling stories that no one knows about, and can find a story in anyone he meets.”

The veteran radio and television Valley host, who’s been the CEO, and founder, of the multi-platform media company, Sports360AZ, for over the last decade, also values mentoring others during their career journey.

“He leads by example and wants others to see that, and use it in the industry,” said Chris. “He loves spending time getting to know and mentoring the players, coaches, and other business leaders in the community.”

These exemplary traits make Cesmat our clear selection for this year’s Riddle Chapter Leadership Honoree, recognizing exemplary leadership by a board member on behalf of the Valley of the Sun Chapter.
