The mid-way point of the season is here in college football. The Sun Devils are sitting atop the Pac-12 South with a 3-0 record. Utah appears to be the biggest road block remaining in ASU’s quest to win the Pac.
Jon Wilner is going as far as saying that this game could very well determine the winner of the south. It would give ASU a one and a half game cushion over the Utes, who are 2-0 in Pac-12 play. Also, Utah still has UCLA on its schedule.
“It sure seems like a three-way race,” Wilner said. “If ASU has beaten UCLA and beats Utah, that’s a pretty good spot. I think it’s going to be a close game.”
