Before he was a star and National Champion for Michigan Men’s Basketball at the 2026 Men’s Final Four, Yaxel Lendeborg was a star player for Arizona Western for three seasons (’20-’23).

He was back-to-back Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) Player of the Year and the confidence he built up “led me to be a way better basketball player, way better human. I learned to be a good teammate there…molded me into the man I am now.”
