Here in town, buzz is growing around the 5-0 Arizona Cardinals. They are the last undefeated team in the NFL. So of course there’s chatter surrounding this team from a national lens.
Kaelen Jones from The Ringer believes this team is playing at a sustainable level. He credits Kyler Murray’s elevated play and veteran leadership from JJ Watt and Rodney Hudson as the main differences in 2021.
“Kyler Murray’s leap in his third year as a passer, I think he’s been tremendous this season,” Jones said on The Brad Cesmat Show. “What really impresses me is how well he’s picked and chose his spots. In past seasons we’ve seen how aggressive he is pushing the ball downfield…he’s hitting on deep passes at a significantly higher rate.”
