This year’s event took place at Liberty High School and was one of the most highly attended Battle of the Badges in the event’s history. Both the East Valley and West Valley also selected an injured first responder to donate the proceeds. The two chosen First Responders took home over $5,000 each from the event proceeds to cover their expenses.

In the end, the East Valley claimed victory 25-24 in the 14th annual event after the West Valley scored a touchdown in the closing seconds but was unable to convert on a two-point conversion to win the game.
