36 fourth quarter points late Saturday night in Tucson led the Arizona Wildcats to a stunning 49-45 victory over Cal. I’ve seen miraculous comebacks but this one would have to be near the top of the list. Arizona was D-O-A(dead on arrival) at halftime. Anu Solomons 47 yard heave to Austin Hill with no time left in the game gave the Wildcats the most improbable victory. Cal had three players around Hill and none of them thought about batting the ball to the ground. Shocking! Next up for the Wildcats, at Oregon a week from Thursday…
Rex Chapman faces 14 felony charges after he was arrested on Friday on accusations he shoplifted items from the Apple Store in Scottsdale(he was released Saturday afternoon). Seven times Chapman walked out of the Scottsdale Quarter store without paying for merchandise. He made it look as though he was paying each time by using a self checkout system through his iPhone app.
The more troubling part to this story to me is that Chapman would then sell the items at a local pawn shop. Does he need the money?…
