Kurt Warner was sitting on a bench going over his play-calling sheet before Thursday nights football game at Basha high school. The former Cardinal quarterback is an assistant coach on Desert Mountain high schools staff. Cade Warner is a tough and talented player for the Wolves. As we talked about his son’s future, Kurt listed off a bunch of schools that have shown interest, so I believe we will see shots of Kurt and Brenda sitting in the stands at college games in the next few years. He and I are also club basketball parents so we’ve run into each other at gyms around the Valley. He has another son who’s very good at that sport. While Warner has great insight on the NFL Network on Sundays, I like seeing him with a headset on, coaching high schools kids, better…
I have gotten to really enjoy Mike Ferrin call Diamondback games on the radio. His flow and knowledge of the game is solid. His Sirius XM radio show (7am PT Monday-Friday) is packed full of information. He’s been a breath of fresh air in an otherwise dreadful baseball season…

Why do I get a press release(and pictures) in my email from a PR firm about Team President Derrick Halls house being on the market? Do we need to know these sorts of things? Is this considered important to the overall mission of….I don’t know…getting a team together that wins more than it loses…
It seems to me that there’s far more concern about attempting to get PR, any PR, that doesn’t involve the bad product that we’ve been given on the field. The first charge of ownership should be the product they provide to us ON THE FIELD. When you fail to deliver on that, everything else should fall on deaf ears. The next press release or PR note that should be sent out is the impending house cleaning that should follow the last game of the regular season. Mr. Kendrick should be more than a little disturbed about all the things happening to his franchise on and off the field…
