Watching the baseball stadium deals go down last week in Tampa and Milwaukee it makes me wonder what Mr. Kendrick is thinking about the future of the downtown ballpark.. The Southeast Valley is the direction of the sprawl. Fans on that side aren’t as apt to driving downtown Monday-Thursday for games after arleady communting home from work.
Yes, it was just one game on a natioanl stage, but I liked Kenny Dillingham’s aggressive playcalling. One day it could get him called out of Tempe to bigger jobs. Seven NFL coaches are in their 30’s, with Sean McVay of the Rams the youngest at 36 followed by Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell(37).

Thumbs down – FOX during Saturday nights USC v Arizona State game using a montage of Herm Edwards and Kenny Dillingham sound bites. Herm was a nice man who’s parting gift was a bowl ban and a yet to be completed NCAA investigation. Does anyone putting together a broadcast think it might be important to study up rather than just finding an excuse to work in Herm’s “you play to win the game” clip from his Jets days?…
