There’s no better combination than April 1st and the Savannah Bananas.
The biggest party in baseball invaded Scottsdale and Peoria this past weekend in the 2023 Banana Ball World Tour. Saturday, April 1, made Banana Ball history at Peoria Sports Complex as the most attended game in Savannah Bananas history with around 12,000 fans filling the spring training home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners.
The Bananas and Party Animals brought the energy and excitement in the most chaotic and incredible experience I’ve ever seen in sports and entertainment. Filled with trick shots, insane fan interactions, and legitimate baseball with specialty Banana Ball rules, everyone at the Bananas proved why the hype around the organization has exponentially raised over the past few years.
Banana Ball’s visit to Arizona was announced in October of 2022 and the pre-sale list filled at an astronomical rate. Ticket purchase eligibility had to be determined by a lottery system from those on the pre-sale list prior to December 6, 2022. Scottsdale and Peoria were selected out of over 200 cities to make up Banana Ball’s tour of 32 cities in 20 different states across America.
The Bananas and Party Animals split their two games in Arizona and hope to return to the valley on tour again next year.
