In a game of one-loss teams, Arizona and Texas Tech went punch-for-punch through the first three quarters.
Noah Fifita showed his experience and started 25/30 including this touchdown on third and long.

But the ground game was the difference, and Texas Tech was effective while limiting the Arizona run attack. Pair that with a few near-misses to convert and Arizona couldn’t keep pace.
Run game
Speaking of the run game, Texas Tech saw running back J’Koby Williams and quarterback Tommy Castellanos combined for 292 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
The good news for the Wildcats? Kedrick Reescano found the end zone twice. The bad news? He was also the leading rusher with 18 yards.
Reescano, Antwan Roberts and Quincy Craig combined for 39 yards.
Big Play Mizell
Isaiah Mizell continues to emerge as a big play threat and consistent target for Noah Fifita. The sophomore rattled off his third straight 100-yard game and has 499 yards and four touchdowns in that span.
What’s Next
Arizona has a shorter week to work with as it looks to bounce back. They will take on TCU for some Friday night football at Casino del Sol in Tucson at 8:15 PM.
