Texas Tech flexed their muscle on Saturday, scoring 43 points in the first half against ASU. The Red Raiders eventually beat ASU 53-25.

Mikey Keene replaced Cutter Boley at halftime. Boley threw two interceptions – a pick-six and an interception at the end of the half that helped Tech extend their lead late in the half.

Keene threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns. The offense did move better in the second half. Keene had good command of the offense, but Texas Tech playing with a lead could also be a factor.

Kyson Brown was Arizona State’s leading rusher with 39 yards on the day.

Texas Tech’s offense totaled 502 yards and rushed for 260 yards. The Red Raiders accumulated over 400 yards in the first half.

ASU will look to regroup against Kansas State at home this weekend. The Wildcats are 4-2 and coming off a win against rival Kansas. It remains to be seen if Keene will be the man under center or if ASU will remain with Boley.
