The sibling bond is strong between Zac and Lainey Swanson.
They started as opponents growing up in backyard soccer and football. They have the memories from those moments (and the scars).
They both thrived at Brophy & Xavier. Zac was a standout defensive lineman and Lainey was a state champion soccer player at Xavier.
Both siblings opted to head to Texas collegiately. Zac spent one year with the Longhorns and Lainey did the same at TCU. They felt they could find a better fit for their college home.
Both opted to return home after one year away, but this is where their paths differ. Zac opted for Tempe and Arizona State. Lainey is in her first year at Arizona.
They continue to push each other to be better athletes and people, as they navigate both sides of the Territorial Cup rivalry.
