Sutton rolling in the 2012 accolades

In watching ASU defensive tackle Will Sutton this season, you knew he was doing something special with his 10.5 sacks and conference leading 20 tackles for loss. But little did anyone know this many national accolades that would follow at the conclusion of the 2012 season.

If you have lost track, the following is a list of Sutton’s accolades since the Sun Devils knocked off the U of A in the final regular season game:

Because of being named First Team All-American by the AP, the AFCA, the Sporting News and the Walter Camp Football Foundation, he was named a consensus First Team All-American and the first Sun Devil to do so since Terrell Suggs in 2002. He is the 14th Sun Devil overall to do so.

Sutton and the Sun Devils are gearing up for their final game in 2012, the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco on December 29th.
