The Phoenix Suns now know their opponent for the first round of the postseason. They face the No. 7 seed Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament 103-100, thanks to a 30-foot three pointer by LeBron James with less than a minute remaining.

The 2-seeded Suns have their hands full with the purple and gold. Two months ago, the Lakers were in prime position to secure a top-3 seed, but injuries to James and Anthony Davis derailed them down the stretch. Monty Williams’ team went 2-1 against them.
Now this series could come down to one thing: health. James and Davis are still a little banged up. CP3 is healthy, but a seven-game series against a physical Lakers defense could prove draining.
Here’s the schedule for the best-of-seven first round series, which tips off in Phoenix on Sunday.
