In 2024, Arizona State found a way to win close regular-season games until the heartbreak of the Peach Bowl OT loss. After blowing a late lead at Mississippi State in week two of this season, the ball went the Sun Devils’ way Saturday night with kicker Jesus Gomez making a 43-yard field goal as time expired, winning their first conference game of the Big 12 season 27-24.
Arizona State improves to 3-1 on the season and comes home this Friday night to host TCU.
