While no one will argue the Arizona Cardinals offensive improvement under Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray, few will also question the need for wide receiver help in 2020. April’s NFL draft may present the perfect opportunity to provide help with the Cards holding the eighth overall pick.

While Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk were both solid last season combining for over 1500 yards, 143 receptions and seven touchdowns, the slide in production from the wide receiver position after was noticeable.

One draft prospect who seems to have the perfect skill set to fit into Kingbury’s Air Raid offense is Jerry Jeudy. The 6-foot-1, 192-pounder entered the draft after his junior season last fall at Alabama.

“He is the most dynamic wide receiver and big-play threat in the draft,” Jeudy’s agent Leigh Steinberg said in a recent Skype interview with Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat.  “He’s got the ability to run routes like very few college players ever master.”

Jeudy’s production the last two seasons for ‘Bama was off-the-charts: 145 catches, 2,478 yards and 24 touchdowns. In what turned out to be his final collegiate game he tallied six receptions for 204 yards and a touchdown in the Tide’s 35-16 blowout win over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl.

“Once he catches the ball, he’s just explosive,” Steinberg continued. “Very good young man. Brought up with a loving family and again, one of those role models who’s going to make an impact off the field, as well as on.”
