VIDEO – Eliav Gabay sat down with Sun Devil great (1979-1983) and former NBA Coach of the Year Byron Scott.
They discussed Scott’s Summer Champions Initiative that aims to help food insecurity and heat relief across Arizona.
“This is a calling for me,” Scott said. “Something my dad can be very proud of.”
Part of the program also includes the Sun Devil Legacy Scholarship as Scott wants to support Arizona State Athletics’ continued growth.
He also gave his thoughts on the Randy Bennett hire and if he thinks LeBron James will return to the Lakers (Scott won three titles with the Showtime Lakers & returned as head coach 2014-2016).
