Pinnacle quarterback Spencer Rattler has been dubbed the top quarterback in the 2019 class for quite a while, and he solidified that after an Elite 11 MVP performance at The Opening.
#2 on his jersey, but #1 on the field.

Rattler, the only Arizona player in this year’s competition, led Team Overdrive to the 7-on-7 championship.
“Rattler came out on fire in the Championship game and led his team to the title, taking home Elite 11 MVP honors,” 247Sports’ Greg Biggins wrote. “For a player with his slight frame, he gets a ton of heat on the ball, throws the deep ball with accuracy and showed good decision-making skill. He didn’t force anything, checked down when there was nothing down the field and plays with great passion and energy.”
Childhood dream accomplished! Thank you to everybody at The Opening! Blessed to be The Opening Champions & Elite 11 MVP! This is just the beginning…💯 @TheOpening @Elite11 pic.twitter.com/uSytXLgosP
