The Hometown Nine isn’t performing.
Sure it’s early, but let’s not sugar coat it, the Diamondbacks have been a early season disappointment. With a loaded starting rotation(current ERA 6.27), I was certain that we’d see this team get off to a much, much better month of April. Zac Gallen hasn’t been effective in two of his three starts. Katel Marte is on the injured list and Jake McCarthy has yet to collect a base hit. Torey Lovullo’s team hasn’t been clean in the field either. I’m not pushing the panic button or suggesting that things can’t be righted, but let’s not just sit here thinking the Good Ship Arizona is sailing smoothly…
