Chandler High head coach Shaun Aguano has been offered the running backs job at Arizona State and will accept the position. This will send shock waves through the state of Arizona for multiple reasons, one being that one of the premier high school jobs in the state opens up and the second, I expect the Coach Aguano will recruit the state of Arizona and Hawaii, where he has strong ties to recruit from.

“I am going to sign the contract later today and ASU is going to have a media event on Friday,” Aguano said. “I just wanted to be able to tell my kids at Chandler, which I couldn’t have done had I accepted earlier because it is a dead period on recruiting. My family and I are very excited for this opportunity.”
Aguano is one of the most respected coaches in the state of Arizona. Chandler was a very good program under Jim Ewan before Aguano took over but he has taken the Wolves to a whole new level. Aguano is not just respected by his peers because of his win-loss record at Chandler but because of his demeanor and attitude off the sideline.
The talent in recent years at Chandler has been unreal and Aguano has coached multiple NFL players including Cameron Jordan, Dion Jordan, Marc Anthony and Markus Wheaton as well as ASU stars Chase Lucas and N’Keal Harry.
