Salpointe Catholic’s Elijah Rushing Commits To Oregon

On Monday, Oct. 30 Salpointe Catholic edge rusher Elijah Rushing committed to Oregon.

His commitment to the Ducks comes three weeks after he announced his decision to decommit from the University of Arizona. Rushing is the No. 1 prospect in the 2024 class our of Arizona and No. 14 in the nation overall. The 6-foot-6,240-pound edge has posted 200 total tackles, 97 solo tackles, 29 sacks, and 27.5 tackles for loss in his career at Salpointe Catholic.

Elijah’s teammate Keona Wilhite also recently decommited from the University of Arizona. Wilhite committed to the University of Washington on Oct. 23.
