Kelee Ringo was one of the most dynamic athletes to ever come through Arizona at the high school level.
Not only was he an elite football player, but he was a record holder on the track as well.
Now, he gets to take that size, speed and athleticism to the Philadelphia Eagles as they selected him with the 105th overall pick in the fourth round of this year’s NFL Draft.
Ringo was the highest-rated player in arguably Arizona’s greatest recruiting class ever in 2020. The All-American cornerback was often touted as a “unicorn” because of his NFL-ready frame and elite speed.
The 6-foot-2, 206-pound cornerback was a part of one of the most talented defenses in college football with Georgia Bulldogs. After redshirting in 2020 to recover from offseason surgery, he was a ballhawk for the Bulldogs for two seasons, most notably sealing the 2021 national championship with an interception for a touchdown.
Ringo is the third Sabercat to be drafted to the NFL from the Jason Mohns era. Christian Kirk and Byron Murphy were both second round picks by the Arizona Cardinals.
