Robert Sarver is planning to sell the Phoenix Suns and Mercury franchises, according to a statement he released (read here).
This announcement comes after he was given a one year suspension and a $10 million fine by the NBA.
This is all the result of an independent investigation that found Sarver violated many workplace standards set forth by the league.
Since the announcement, sponsors like PayPal have threated to end their deals with the organization. Chris Paul and LeBron James, among others, voiced their concerns over Sarver remaining as owner of the franchises.
Like many others, I reviewed the report. I was and am horrified and disappointed by what I read. This conduct especially towards women is unacceptable and must never be repeated.

In 2021, it was reported that the Phoenix Suns are valued at $1.8 billion.
This will be an ongoing process that won’t happen over night.
