Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada plans to enter the transfer portal according to multiple reporters. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe was first to report the news.

“To ASU, I want to first start off by thanking my teammates, we shared a bond that I’ll remember forever,” Rashada said in a social media post. “Love each and every one of you guys. Thankful for the time we spent together and wish you guys the best of luck.”
Rashada signed with Arizona State in the 2023 February signing period and was on-campus shortly after that. He had a late surge toward the end of fall camp, highlighted by an impressive Camp Tontozona scrimmage, and was named the starter for Week 1 as a true freshman.
The former top-50 recruit was hampered by injury throughout his first season with the Sun Devils. He appeared in the first two games of the season against Southern Utah and Oklahoma State and returned for the final game of the season against Arizona.
In that time, he threw for four touchdowns and three interceptions. He also had a hand procedure entering spring ball, which limited his availbility up until last week.
This offseason, the Sun Devils added Michigan State transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt, who saw reserve action in four games.
