The three-year Arizona State University starting quarterback had previously annouced he’d be back for a fourth year on Dec. 2. It’s still possible for him to stay at ASU and compete for the starting job with Alabama transfer and 2019 four-star recruit Paul Tyson. For now, he’s weighing his options with other Power-5 programs.
This seems to be the latest downside of the current recruiting violations investigation against Herm Edwards’ squad. The “Herm Train” is getting wobbly on the tracks. Only time will tell what’s next.
