With the NFL deadline to make trades coming this week, ESPN Insider Adam Schefter reported this morning that Larry Fitzgerald is available. Schefter noted that front office executives told him that Fitz could be moved now or in the coming offseason.
I received quite a bit of flack on the show earlier this week for stating that it’s time for the Arizona Cardinals to CONSIDER trading Fitz. He has a 18-million dollar balloon payment coming in the offseason and the organization isn’t heading to a Super Bowl anytime soon unless they buy a ticket.
What could the Cardinals get in exchange for Fitzgerald? I would have to believe that a first round draft pick would come their way…
