The Arizona State Sun Devils are 3-0 in Pac-12 play. On offense, it starts with Jayden Daniels as the leader of this team.
His mother, Regina Jackson, is not surprised to see his success. Plus, she’s always there front and center to watch in awe.
“When I say I’m his biggest fan, I’m his biggest fan,” Jackson said. “I’m at every game he’s at. I’m on a Pac-12 road trip this season.”
Last year it was tough on the road due to different COVID-19 restrictions in various states. Now, she says she’s enjoying making memories while watching her son every weekend.
Wearing Multiple Hats
She also wears the hat of manager. With college athletes now allowed to make profits off their name, image, and likeness, she’s been making sure he’s able to do so while focusing on playing the sport he loves. And winning, because that’s his main priority in a Sun Devil uniform.
“I’m the one actually posting it’s not him,” Jackson said. “He is dialed in and he is focused. He wants to win and he wants to take ASU to something they haven’t done.”
He currently has his own JD5 pizza at Venezia’s, a car deal at Jones Auto Group, a collaboration with State Forty Eight, along with others. Jackson works as a Regional Manager for Sun Run, so she has a background in business and sales.

Off the field, Jayden and his mom spend a good amount of time watching football and shopping together. They enjoy anytime they have together.
“We crack jokes, we laugh, we have a great time when we’re together,” Jackson said. “He’s literally my spitting image.”
