Celebrities flooded the Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Wednesday morning. Headliners included Larry Fitzgerald, Emmitt Smith, Bruce Arians, and more. The celebrities ranged from former professional athletes to country music superstars like Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. Many of the celebrities participating are regular fixtures at the WMPO, others are new to the experience and some live just down the road and have kids enrolled at nearby high schools.
Former Chicago Bears Linebacker Brian Urlacher was one of the many familiar faces joining the Pro-Am on Wednesday morning. While Brian Urlacher may be a household name, it may be time to pocket the name Kennedy Urlacher.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Chandler Wolves defensive back is the son of the NFL Hall of Famer. Many people who have had the chance to watch Brian and Kennedy say they pose some similarities. However, Brian says his son is far ahead of where he was at in high school. Last season Urlacher posted 34 total tackles, 20 solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and one interception for the Wolves.
The Chandler junior defensive back has received a handful of offers over the last few months. His most recent offer came from the University of Washington on Jan. 25. His very first offer came in September 2020 from his father’s alma mater, the University of New Mexico. Kennedy now holds over a dozen offers from programs including, the University of Miami, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, ASU, Arizona, etc.
