Things did not seem to be going the Arizona Wildcats’ way back on November 15th, 2014 as Washington came down to Tucson. The Huskies jumped out to 17-7 lead in the first half and had all of the momentum in the game.
The Wildcats looking to get some points on the board before the end of the first half lined up for a field goal and instead of Casey Skowron kicking the ball, he caught the snap and ran for an 18 yard touchdown. Proving to be a huge momentum swing in the game, the Wildcats pulled within three.
Skowron remained the hero of the game as he would go on to kick a game-winning 47 yard field goal as time expired to get the Wildcats a big 27-26 victory.
With the 2015 matchup with Washington coming up this weekend, kicker Casey Skowron and special teams coach Charlie Ragle recall that time when the smallest player on their team ran for a huge score.
