Racing Against Arizona NASCAR Driver Michael McDowell at Octane Raceway

On Tuesday, ISM Raceway held a special event for season ticket holders at Octane Raceway; an opportunity to race against Glendale’s homegrown NASCAR driver, Michael McDowell. The NASCAR driver raced on track against fans and the media to see if anyone could beat the multi-time karting champion. Sports360AZ’s own Devon Henry took up the challenge to battle against McDowell. Could he catch the Front Row Racing driver?

McDowell was the first Arizona-born driver to win a NASCAR national touring series race in 2016 at Road America for Joe Gibbs Racing’s Xfinity Series team. He also has a career win at ISM Raceway back in 2004 in the Star Mazda Series.

He’ll be at his home track for the Bluegreen Vacations 500 at ISM Raceway Nov. 8-10 for NASCAR’s semi-final race.
