Cellphones are not allowed on the grounds of Augusta National during Masters week. The crowds in April are there for golf. What would it look like if TPC Scottsdale had the same “no phones” on the premises policy? Would there be a drop in attendance? Would that be such a bad thing? Would the tournament still be the “Greatest Show on Grass”? I’m sure it would be. 
There was something noble about Sunday’s final round. Rory and Bryson dueling. The roller-coaster ride for McIlroy. Justin Rose, Patrick Reed and Scottie Scheffler making charges was compelling stuff.
Would the WM Open lose it’s vibe if phones were banned? What if all professional sports took the approach of a zero-tolerance policy on devices being allowed on premises? If Augusta National can pull it off, so can everyone else…
From my understanding Steve Nash has the broadcast itch and will be on a big platform this Fall. He’s not going to be the head coach of the Suns. I’m certain Mat Ishbia will listen to Isiah Thomas and Tom Izzo, they may even be part of the search in some capacity. All I know is that Ishbia hasn’t done much of anything positive from a basketball standpoint. The Durant and Beal moves have been disasters all the way around. You only make those deals to win a title, not to entirely miss the postseason. Is he the type of owner who can take the heat?
