Hey everyone! Welcome to On The Rocks, I’m your trail guide, Claudia Collins. Today I’m taking you along for my favorite activity in all of Arizona, it truly can’t be beat! I discovered the Saguaro Lake Ranch just a week or two after moving to Phoenix a few years ago. I moved in the middle of June and was desperate to get outdoors…but I didn’t want to melt or get heat stroke. However, I was itching for an adventure. Once I kayaked the Salt River through the Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch I couldn’t keep myself away. Now I’ve adventured the Salt River by kayak nearly a dozen times and still can’t get enough.
The wildlife you’ll encounter is nearly endless. From birds, to fish, to river otters, and wild horses…every twist and turn has excitement in store!
