Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals were on the right side of a blowout for the third time this season.
Kyler Murray played a terrific game while the Cardinal defense harassed and hammered Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a 31-6 thrashing of the visiting team from New York.
With the win, the Cardinals(6-4) remain atop the NFC West standings, extending their winning streak to four. Four of their final seven games will be played within the division.
The Cardinals were up 24-6 at the half. Murray ran for a score and found Marvin Harrison Jr. for a touchdown in the first thirty minutes. The second half was similar, as Murray carved up the Jets defense to a franchise-record 17 straight completions. 22-24-266(2 rushing scores)was his final stat line.
Defensively, the Cardinals didn’t allow a touchdown for the second game in a row, while Rodgers could only complete one pass for more than ten yards until the game was well out of hand in the final part of the fourth quarter.
The Cardinals have hit the bye week and will return to action on November 24th in Seattle.
