Kezion Dia-Johnson has seen his recruitment take off since transferring to Desert Edge from Laveen Cesar Chavez. The 2024 wide receiver says that making the transfer has already given him opportunities he never imagined he’d have.
Since becoming a Desert Edge Scorpion, Kezion has received six Division I offers. He’s excited about all of his offers, however, there’s one that stands above the rest.
“I really like my fourth offer because let’s go Ducks,” Kezion said with a smile.

Kezion received his offer from the University of Oregon on May 6 and says his family was very excited about that particular offer. While the offer from the Ducks is thrilling for Kezion, he says that this experience has only made him want more.
“I want more because I also want to make my teammates better,” Kezion said. “If I get more it’ll help my teammates out because if they come to watch me, they also can watch my teammates.”
“I want more.” @Kezion7 said after getting an offer from @HuskerFBNation today.

This off-season Dia-Johnson is focussing on his strength training and recruiting.
“My whole goal this off-season is to hit 180 full muscle,” Kezion said. “Right now I’m really chasing offers because it’s just something that my older brother couldn’t do, that I can do.”
Kezion has really enjoyed learning from coach Marcus and Mark Carter and says he really looks up to them both.
“I love both coaches, I love them like they could be my pops” Kezion said.
The young wide receiver says he feels at home at Desert Edge and is excited for the 22-23 season.
