Mountain Ridge athletes read book to kids at Copper Creek Elementary

Tre Hickem is a high school football assistant coach in the valley who understands the importance of community.

For years he’s had football players visit elementary schools to interact with young students.

Now girls flag football players and cheerleaders at Mountain Ridge are joining the party.

Every Friday, they read books to students at Copper Creek Elementary.
