He holds the record for most career goals (158 & counting), he’s scored over 37 goals in three straight seasons, he had MLS offers to forgo his senior year, and he decided to stay in order to graduate and win a state championship four-peat with head coach Wolfgang Weber, assistant coach Gonzo, and Salpointe.
As he works to find the best path for his future, whether that be college or pro soccer, he also has an offer on the table to stay home.
Pima Community College, the same college his older brother won a national championship with, was Gutierrez’s first offer.
Number one on Leo’s immediate priority list is bringing home state championship number four to complete the Lancer dynasty.
