Back-to-back state champions for the Millennium Lady Tigers, snagging a 58-52 overtime win against Sandra Day O’Connor Saturday, at Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Coliseum.
This program has won six state titles since 2019. This time, making Arizona history by becoming the first girls basketball team to win back-to-back Open Division state championships.
Game MVP, Amaya Ribbens-Brown, dominated the floor, with 17 points, six of those being Millennium’s 10 overtime points, and six rebounds.
