Mercury Season Ends in WNBA FInals Loss

The Mercury’s dramatic run to the WNBA Finals came to an end on Sunday, losing at Chicago in front of a sellout crowd 80-74. With the Phoenix loss, the Sky win the 2021 Championship 3 games to 1. Chicago was led by the inside presence of  Candace Parker, who signed as a free agent back in February, scoring 16 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Allie Quigley led the Sky with 26 points. 

Britney Griner led the Mercury in scoring with 28 points. Skyler Diggins-Smith and Diana Taurasi each chipped in with 16 in the season ending loss.
